I would like to know how I may apply for rental assistance such as HUD or Section 8. I am disabled and unable to work. I am still wtg for my disability so i dont have an income at this time and i'm on the verge of becoming evicted. I have reached out to other agencies to assist me with my immediate need to get my rent that is past due to be paid up however going forward I need to get some assistance with lower rent as I do not have an income so I will most likely just end up in the same situation (facing eviction again) if I don't get some semi permanent assistance such as HUD or Section 8.
